Ideas just for you

Visiting Alsace... as a duo

Fancy an escapade with your loved one? Come and spend a weekend full of complicity and romanticism and discover our ideas for a successful stay as a duo.

The Botanical Garden, in Strasbourg

At the heart of the German quarter, where you may see beautiful but imposing neoclassic buildings, is hidden a spot of greenery. Strasbourg’s Botanical Garden is a charming place! A forest of bamboo grows side by side with a huge Sequoia and next to a tropical greenhouse, sheltering 450 plant species. In total, 6,000 species can be seen by the public. A small lake surrounded with benches makes this place a perfect spot to take a break.

An evening at the opera, in Strasbourg

On the Place Broglie, the National Opera of the Rhine displays its beautiful colonnaded facades overlooked by 6 Muses. An ambitious programme is scheduled every season: it is to be noted that the National Opera of the Rhine is a nation-wide known venue!  Listed a Historical Monument, you will spend an evening under the sign of lyricism. All in the most romantic hushed atmosphere.

The Petite Venise, in Colmar

What is more romantic than a stroll through the alleyways and canals? Colmar, the capital of Alsacian wines, reveals itself as you sail: flat-bottomed boats, small alleyways full of charm, the Saint-Pierre and the Tanneurs bridges. This is the ideal setting for romantic weekend getaways so do not deprive yourselves! Colmar is THE Alsacian town which cultivates the most the love of art and gastronomy.

The poetic path, in La Petite-Pierre

In the natural regional park in the Northern Vosges, a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve, La Petite-Pierre is a gem that you must come and discover! Perched on hilly summits, it is a charming village with a castle which can be visited. Around the village, there many walk trails in particular the poetic path René Char, a renowned poet who nursed a true feeling of love for Alsace. The 8 km walk is now known under his name and takes you through a nice forest path to a lake.
