Destination Coeur d'Alsace

Ideally located between Strasbourg and Colmar, "Cœur d’Alsace" is a destination with a splendid mosaic of landscapes combining vineyards and forests, typical villages (Obernai, Barr, Itterswiller, Châtenois, Scherwiller and plenty of others – 37 in total) and remarkable cultural heritage.

Stroll through its uniquely charming towns and villages such as Mittelbergheim, ranked as "the most beautiful village in France" with its traditional Renaissance half-timbered houses, and walk between the ramparts of Obernai.

Sample regional specialities! Did you know that "Cœur d’Alsace" is also home to well-known regional culinary capitals? Krautergersheim is home to choucroute (sauerkraut) and Gertwiller is home to pain d'épices (gingerbread).

Look out over the plain of Alsace and its vineyards and take in the wonderful view from the Mont Sainte-Odile or the Haut-Koeningsbourg château.

Immerse yourself in the history of this region where Romanesque art meets the present day in towns such as Rosheim, Epfig and Andlau.

As well as its prestigious sights, "Cœur d’Alsace" is also a destination for sporting and leisure activities as well as unmissable festivals, such as its traditional wine celebrations linked with Alsatian folklore groups.

"Coeur d’Alsace" is renowned for its vineyards and interesting sights.
