Pottery G. Wehrling and Girl

A small artisanal workshop that was created in the early 1980s. Peggy the potter who took over in 2002, combines tradition and modernity. She likes her tableware to be useful, to tell you a story and to give you that déjà-vu feeling. Through her pottery, she wishes to arouse the desire to use it, such as the pottery bowls, which have an old-fashioned shape that we are no longer used to seeing, but which are very contemporary in colour, or the "kougelhopf" type cake moulds, which are declined in different ways according to the seasons or the annual festivals, as tradition would have it. But at the same time, it is open to new creations such as the skull and crossbones in kougelhopf moulds. The shop is open on Mondays from 2pm to 6pm, Wednesdays from 9.30am to 12pm and Fridays from 9.30am to 12pm and 2pm to 6pm. Saturdays by appointment. Weekend and public holiday opening times to be checked on their website. The pottery does not offer open studio visits or guided tours.
