Kronenbourg: a major player in the market

With an annual production of 9 million hectolitres, Kronenbourg, (founded in 1664 by Jérôme Hatt) is a major player in the brewing industry. Possessing major investments in the advertising and packaging sectors, the brewery was part of the Danone group before joining the British Scottish & Newcastle group in 2000.

The Strasbourg site proposes a number of visits aimed at families, professionals and school groups. Visitors can enjoy a picturesque walk through the ancient vaulted cellars, watch a film on the history and production of beer, and taste the different products produced by the group.
