The Filature in Mulhouse

A multicultural performance venue

Built in 1993, the Filature has become one of Alsace's leading cultural venues. Comprising several performance rooms, it welcomes almost 50 different shows each season. With its repertoire including theatre, dance, the circus, comedy, opera, ballet and music, the Filature covers the whole entertainment spectrum, with the focus firmly on quality. The Mulhouse Symphony Orchestra, the National Rhine Opera and the Scène Nationale all share this venue, enabling the general public to select from a huge choice of contemporary and classical entertainment. the Filature also welcomes a number artists-in-residence, offering them the ideal place to work and develop their projects.
