The Blue Farm Gardens

A blue farm surrounded by magnificent gardens

Situated in Uttenhoffen, this garden takes its name from the blue coloured farm ("Hanau blue") located in the heart of this 17-are property. The various buildings have all contributed something to the overall structure of this site, where visitors will find a harmonious combination of gardens featuring various themes. During a stroll here, visitors can discover a charming paved courtyard containing a selection of oleander, rosebush and Japanese wisteria varieties. A little further away, we find a pool made from earthenware tiles, topped with water lilies. This leads on to the small "Crystal Garden", a charming glasshouse which is used as an orangery during the winter. Finally, an elegant Italian-styled alleyway entirely devoted to vegetable varieties provides access to a flower garden laid out in squares of box trees.
