About us

The Alsace Tourist Board (the Comité Régional du Tourisme d’Alsace or "CRT Alsace") is an organisation which is chiefly involved in promoting Alsace, both in France and throughout the rest of the world. Although subsidised by the regional council, the CRT Alsace is not a public institution. It is an independent body whose objectives are exclusively tourism-related.

The CRT Alsace's various departments work together closely in order to make the region more attractive to tourists and to encourage them to discover or rediscover Alsace's many attractions.

The Promotional Department

The Promotional Department represents Alsace during shows and events in both France and abroad. It also has the task of organising partnerships.

The Press Department

The Press Department has the task of developing and maintaining relations with journalists in order to encourage them to create content focusing on Alsace. It regularly organises press trips, as well as drafting and sending out press releases and themed press kits, in addition to arranging meetings with members of the press during carefully selected events.

The Marketing and Publicity Department

The marketing and publicity department deals with the purchasing of advertising space, determines the CRT Alsace's media and non-media strategy, and organises events. The management and running of the website is also handled by this department.

The Regional Tourism Monitoring Group

The Regional Tourism Monitoring Group carries out market monitoring activities and strategic analyses. Its conclusions enable the CRT Alsace and the various professionals in the Alsatian tourist industry to adapt their strategy to meet the needs of the tourism market.
